Verdict

CONSTANTINOPLE tackles soft ground and this trip for the first time but has always looked as though he would be suited by both. His victory in a Curragh Group 3 last month is the stand-out form and he can concede weight all-round. His stable companion Antilles was five lengths behind at the Curragh but is 5lb better off and was staying on better than anything over that 1m2f. Fox Premier has shot up 11lb for an impressive handicap victory at Sandown but is improving fast and he's related to winners at this trip but Windsor maiden winner Sinjaari is up 8lb for a short-head defeat in the London Gold Cup at Newbury. Sir Ron Priestley easily beat Babbo's Boy off levels at Ripon before landing the odds over this trip at Haydock and the latter has given the form a boost with two subsequent victories. Almania landed a maiden on good to soft at Sandown in August and will be better for his run in the Dante though he finished last.
