Verdict

POINT LONSDALE should cement his place at the head of the juvenile rankings. A very impressive debut winner from today's rival Unconquerable at the Curragh, he ploughed through the Royal Ascot mud to land the Chesham from a subsequent easy winner and it will be a shock if he's beaten here. Maritime Wings gained a surprise victory here last month though the form hasn't worked out but Chicago Soldier was only beaten a neck in a bunch finish at the Curragh where he looked very green.
