In depth

Verdict

The return to 1m2f is not a problem for Frankly Mr Shankly but he keeps finding one too good as was the case at Ripon last time. City Tour and Estrela Star are others dropping down in distance and the latter has yet to win on Turf but Shining Aitch landed one of these events at Nottingham recently and Serena Brotherton keeps the winning partnership intact. HOTSPUR HARRY recorded his only win so far under George Eddery at Newcastle in April but that was in a tougher amateurs' race than this and he gets the vote racing off a lower mark today.
