Verdict

Famous Name won the last three of these for Dermot Weld who has Along Came Casey engaged this time. She's a very useful mare who landed a Listed contest here last month and ran the progressive Fiesolana close in a Fairyhouse Group 3 last time. That winner is trained by Jim Bolger, who is represented here by Scintillula, who makes a quick reappearance after her cracking effort behind Chicquita in the Irish Oaks on Sunday. This trip probably suits her better and she must be a threat though MARS will take all the beating. The Ballydoyle colt has plied his trade at the very highest level since landing a Dundalk maiden a year ago and this represents a big drop in class from chasing home Dawn Approach in the St James's Palace Stakes and Al Kazeem in the Eclipse.
