Vedettariat won a point-to-point in February and looked in need of a stiffer test of stamina when only fifth in a Punchestown bumper on his debut. He'll improve in time but this looks a strong race. WINDSOR PARK came up against a very promising type in Value At Risk at Fairyhouse and made him pull out all the stops. The rest were well beaten and he can go one better. Macbride has to be a threat after a very encouraging debut behind Lieutenant Colonel at Punchestown where he was staying on strongly at the finish while The Herbs Garden has come up against two very useful winners, and with his stable in superb form, has to be considered.
