Verdict
The last time Jack Kennedy rode Maxxum he won this race by 16 lengths which resulted in a massive 18lb rise. He's won over fences subsequently but faces a very stiff test from his new mark. Stablemate Absolute Notions makes his handicap debut but was narrowly beaten in a Grade 1 novices' contest here in February. M C Muldoon hasn't run over timber since 2021 but he's been in action on the Flat where's he's a smart staying handicapper. Gaoth Chuil arrives in good form with a handy weight and won here in March while Lucky Zebo has won four of his last five and a mark of 126 looks reasonable. NINE GRACES is lightly-raced and looks the type to win good handicaps. She looked just in need of her recent run and with that under her belt can take this for Barry Connell.
