Verdict
Carrolls Cottage won a point at Dromahane in October and ran very well on his hurdling debut at Cork where the 2m would have been much too short. Hardwired hasn't been beaten far in either of his last two starts and both trip and ground are in his favour while both An Taibhse and Champagne Izzy are newcomers to note from powerful yards. However, Willie Mullins has introduced some smart performers over the past couple of weeks and RAMBRANLT'JAC could be another. He's out of a mare who won a Grade 3 over hurdles in France and, though only showing moderate form in two runs in France, he will have been identified as a potentially-useful hurdler and has an entry in a Grade 1 over Christmas.
