Twice a winner on the Flat, HUDSON’S BAY made a promising start over hurdles at Gowran. He finished well clear of the rest when third and should know more here. Macbride was a disappointing favourite in that Gowran race but that was his first start since December and he’s not easily dismissed while Hello Sweetie has been placed over timber on more than one occasion.
