In depth

Verdict

Noel Meade wastes no time bringing out DINARD ROSE under a penalty after her victory over 1m6f at Bellewstown on Thursday. She shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop in trip and looks progressive. Whitsunday Islands had looked on the upgrade when a close third at Dundalk but didn't show the expected improvement at Leopardstown and though Lleyton easily won at Limerick that was over 2m1f and this looks on the short side. Shamad has never won but was staying on over 1m2f at Naas while another maiden, Prize Winner, could find the ground a bit lively unless there's some rain.
