Verdict

David Wachman runs two and we have to assume that Bronte, an expensive purchase and likely to do better in her second season as she's out of a stoutly-bred mare, is the pick of the pair. She's owned by Coolmore as is HANKY PANKY and it's Aidan O'Brien's filly, who has entries in all the big races and is a half-sister to Giant's Causeway, who is expected to come out on top despite not quite living up to expectations last season. Daymooma finished a neck in front of the selection at the Curragh in June but was beaten when odds-on by Count Of Limonade on heavy ground at Roscommon later. Lady Giselle didn't have the pace to trouble the principals over 6f at Cork on her reappearance but this should be more to her liking.
