Verdict

The Bold Beckey has a penalty for her victory at Tramore on Friday, the race she had won the previous year, and Shane Crimin's claim will ensure she gets into the act again. Johnston's Best was always going strongly when beating Taken Twice at Ballinrobe but the runner-up has been beaten twice subsequently. Supreme Vic went to Listowel last month after showing excellent form in the summer but didn't appear to stay the 3m trip and should do better. Solita was having only her second run over hurdles when scrambling home in a Listowel maiden and makes her handicap debut over this longer trip. RODGER ROO appeared unsettled by a first-flight error at Navan after an excellent run behind Hell Cat Maggie at Roscommon when Ourbeautifuldream was a long way behind. She hasn't been the most consistent of performers so far but is due a big run and hopefully it can be here. She easily holds Padraig's Joy on her victory at Kilbeggan in July but the latter is improving and won easily at Cork last time.
