In depth

Verdict

This shouldn't take as much winning as the first division and Jessica Harrington's newcomer Big White Chief, a brother to the smart sprinter Leo Minor and out of a winning miler, won't need to be special to make a successful start. Call Me Rocky made an encouraging debut at Dundalk in November and though beaten a long way into third at Roscommon earlier this month that was on heavy going and today's conditions should see him go very close. THALEEQ, a half-brother to four winners at around this trip, found 5f much too short at Bellewstown and never threatened but stayed on and this is much more like his trip so he gets the nod.
