Verdict

A very disappointing turnout but AN SAIGHDIUR is clear on ratings and should get off the mark despite the fact that his last four runs have all been on polytrack at Dundalk. His recent close third to Big Typhoon when strongly fancied is the best form on offer and he should recoup losses. Michael Grassick appears to be having a problem finding the best trip for Majestic Pearl who ran well over 6f at the Curragh a month ago before finding 1m1f at Ballinrobe stretching his stamina. First-time Blinkers can help matters here and he looks booked for second spot in front of Rum Raisin, who will be having her 17th start and may struggle.
