BALLELA BOY won a beginners’ chase at Thurles last month and has won a handicap over hurdles off a higher mark than today. A conditional’s allowance further strengthens his cause. Concordin, Bilbo Bagins and Attalco were all still thereabouts in the same race at Thurles when former fell at the last and the latter pair came unstuck a couple of fences from home.
