Verdict

FOR PLEASURE showed only moderate ability in maidens but it was a different matter on his handicap debut at Navan a fortnight ago where he ploughed through the mud for the easiest of victories. He was well supported to do so and an extra 9lb shouldn't make too much difference in similar conditions. Remmy D, who finished third, should get closer on the revised terms without reversing the form. Easkey Lad makes his handicap debut after three moderate runs at Dundalk but Haunting Vocals has a heavy-ground victory to his credit and will have come on for last month's run at Cork.
