In depth

Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Straight Home was impressive when landing a Cork bumper in April but has been well beaten in two subsequent starts over hurdles. Only By Night, a winner between the flags, has moved from the UK where she was placed at Warwick in February. Penelope's Charm has run well in both starts, staying on in quicker ground than she faces here. MA BELLE ETOILE looked in need of experience at Tipperary but did very well to chase home the more-experienced Switch From Diesel and can go one better.
