In depth

Verdict

Benefit North was in touch when falling two out at Leopardstown before a surprise victory at Downpatrick but he still has a lot to find with Poseidon on level terms and the latter, a winner over track and trip before a fair run in a Leopardstown handicap, has Cathal Landers' claim to aid his cause. BATTLE WILLS landed a Naas maiden before finding Grade 3 and heavy ground against him at Fairyhouse and this looks his level. Sand Fly was in winning form at Listowel in September and isn't without a chance on these terms though Never Do Nothing looks more of a threat as he's been very highly tried since landing a Musselburgh maiden on New Year's Day.
