In depth

Verdict

Pepperoni Pete went up an incredible 17lb for winning by 11 lengths on heavy going at Navan but still performed with credit at the Curragh last week and had Fil The Power behind. Tipperary maiden winner Longbourn showed very good speed on his return from an absence at Dundalk last month while Dedillon finally got off the mark at the 20th time of asking on the Polytrack last month. Fearless Girl has done best in testing conditions, a remark that also applies to MK DRAMA (NAP) though the latter showed very good pace at the Curragh last month and the slightly quicker ground can see her back in the winner's enclosure. The three-year-old Morning Approach has a fine pedigree and made a successful debut in a Dundalk maiden in December so is another to consider.
