Verdict

MR LINGO went for £250,000 at the sales after a facile victory at Dromahane in April 2017 and though the long absence is a concern he'll be expected to make a successful Rules debut. Baptism Of Fire started favourite for his debut at Courtown in April and though only scrambling home showed battling qualities that will stand him in good stead here. The selection's stable companion Getabay got going too late at Navan and will have learned from the experience while Noel Meade's Lieutenant Command hails from a smart family and looks one to note for the future.
