In depth

Verdict

MERHOOB (NAP) has been competing in tougher sprints than this and returned an impressive winner at Wolverhampton earlier in the week. He’s taken to defy a penalty and confirm earlier superiority with Zac Brown. Watchable has yet to win on the all-weather but also drops in class and has the beating of Suzi's Connoisseur on collateral form. The latter beat subsequent dual winner Highland Acclaim over track and trip in December but Nick Vedder does most of his racing and winning at Newcastle, though is still preferred to Something Lucky in this grade.
