Verdict

Barefooted Flyer is a sporting selection in a trappy opener to the card. Keeping on nicely over six furlongs last time Milton Bradley's gelding will be better suited by today's trip and has fallen to a decent handicap mark. Parker has been in good form of late, winning at Musselburgh and then being far from disgraced at Chester last time and should be thereabouts, together with the in-form Alafzar and the evergreen Welton Arsenal.
