Verdict

Richard Hannon's juveniles have been in tremendous heart and Cap Ferrat made a highly pleasing debut when coming late to land a Newbury maiden earlier in the month. The son of Robellino was well on top at the finish and is sure to improve appreciably while Coconut Penang confirmed the merit of his debut second behind Rockets 'n Rollers when making most at Lingfield and shouldn't be dismissed. David Loder is always a man to be feared in this type of event and newcomer Seyed, an expensive son of Desert Prince out of a winning juvenile by Generous, should be noted in the betting exchanges.
