        Verdict

        Counsel's Opinion showed the benefit of his seasonal reappearance when a staying-on sixth behind Jabaar at Newmarket last time and should go close off a 1lb higher mark. Kilkenny Castle has been in great heart both on all-weather and turf but may now be in the handicapper's grip judged on his latest effort while Morro Castle has been knocking on the door of late although was flattered behind a cheeky winner at Beverley last time.
