Verdict

Hardly an easy 'getting-out stakes' with a chance taken on GLOBAL DESTINATION at the head of the weights despite the fact his form only suggests potential rather than solid achievement. However, he now makes his handicap bow after both wind surgery and a gelding operation and this is not the most demanding of levels for his return to action. Bataar is probably worth a saver as he's down from the north from the powerful Fahey yard and takes a significant drop in grade, with the 5lb claim of Connor Murtagh a further plus. He rates definite short-list material while the consistent Clem A and Eye Of The Water also enter calculations. Chop Chop is also of interest sporting first-time blinkers.
