Verdict
The Last Mohican gets the vote in this Banded Stakes with Khuzdar taken as the one most likely to chase our selection home. The Last Mohican showed a game attitude when second behind Unleaded in a similar race to this last time at Wolverhampton. He is clearly in decent heart at present, and with the drop in trip unlikely to inconvenience him and with Jamie Spencer in the plate, he is difficult to oppose. Khuzdar is proving very difficult to win with and he hung left under pressure when second to Misty Man at Wolverhampton last time. He is sure to be in the frame once again, but does have a tendency to find at least one too good so is opposable for that reason. Buz Kiri is from a shrewd yard and is another to consider, while Philosphic is a course and distance winner so has to be respected, but The Last Mohican looks the clear form pick and is taken to score.
