Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Everything looks in place for a big run from QUINSMAN and he's selected ahead of Satwa Gold and Awatuki. Stan Moore's runner is in good heart at present and after a close second last week he'll surely be going up the ratings in the future, so this looks a sensible move to run off the same mark and it should be rewarded. The step up to 1m5f isn't expected to be a problem and he brings strong recent form to the table. Satwa Gold is on a feasible mark and won a seller in tidy fashion last time, so this colt represents comfortably the biggest danger to our pick with Hayley Turner on board. Awatuki is running reasonably without threatening to win and indeed you have to go back to 2008 to find his latest winning form. Granted, that came off a much higher mark but that reflects the fact he's simply not as good these days and a place may be his best hope. Little Richard is getting on in years and didn't show much sparkle last time at his favourite track Wolverhampton, whilst Meydan Dubai is an 18-race maiden who has struggled to get competitive off this mark. Admiral Duque won two starts ago but a 6lb rise found him out last time and nothing other than a repeat of that can really be expected and with Prince Picasso looking held in his current mood this is best left to Quinsman, who is confidently selected to score.
