In depth

Verdict

Rod Millman has already hit winning form with his juveniles and he can take this opener with Peppin's Gold, Fast Freddie and Elle's Angel may provide most danger. The selection is a relatively cheap daughter of King Charlemagne, but is related to numerous winners. The betting market will be the governing factor, but with his string well forward she does look the best option. Fast Freddie is the obvious form horse having just got collared on his debut here by a Mick Channon newcomer. He can only improve for that experience and he will be a tough nut to crack. Just for good measure Millman also sends out Elle's Angel, and although nothing special on breeding, any market move could be significant. Everyman and Pernomente have the benefit of previous outings and look the pick of the others, but with the stable in form a chance is taken with Peppin's Gold.
