      Verdict

      KING OLAV had tumbled 18lb down the weights since the turn of the year and took advantage at Kempton last time. He sluiced up by six lengths and today's penalty is unlikely to prevent him following up on that evidence. Shirataki scored over track and trip before finding only one too good at Kempton and should be thereabouts along with Gabrial's Hope. The latter won at Wolverhampton last month and makes more appeal than Kittens, who also scored at Wolverhampton in October but is having her first start since.
