In depth
Verdict
Desert Dust, Twinned and Spirit of Coniston all have claims here but we will take a chance and side with Gone'n'dunnett. The selection is a course and distance winner and he was not beaten all that far at Wolverhampton last time behind Polar Force. He has a decent draw today and we think he represents the value call in the race off his current mark. Desert Dust and Twinned are closely matched on their recent run at Kempton, but Twinned was denied a clear run in that contest and he may be capable of reversing the placings with that rival today. Spirit Of Consiton would have claims on his best form be he has been a little disappointing of late and we are happy to return to Gone'n'dunnett who gets our vote to lead them home.
