Verdict

Placed at Uttoxeter and also on his handicap debut at Carlisle, Maypole Class may well open his account here raised 3lb but there are several with claims. Imperial Acolyte won a Wetherby novice event just over a year ago but has twice undergone wind surgery since, though led into the straight when fourth over a longer trip at Ludlow on his return to action. HONORABLE is only a four-year-old so may have more to offer. He was keeping on over 2m at Kempton on his reappearance, though his ability to handle this ground will have to be taken on trust. Playa Blanca caught the eye at Taunton and course specialist The Game Is A Foot is another to consider.
