In depth
Verdict
Missie Baileys can come back from a break to beat Seattle Robber, Ponente and Grezie. This low-grade seller should be well within the scope of Missie Baileys who created a favourable impression with the manner of her success in this type of company at Windsor in October. She clearly appreciated the drop in grade and step up to a mile that day, and looks one to follow if put into handicaps. In the meantime, providing that she is fit enough, there is no reason why she should not go close again. Ponente has shown little in three outings on Turf but on breeding will come into her own over a mile plus. Seattle Robber was narrowly denied at Wolverhampton just four days ago, but the faster surface is a worry, and Grezie has done well to win twice in this company considering that current trainer George Margarson and previous handler John Best both consider her useless! As usual, the market will reveal if anything else is strongly fancied, but we shall go with the proven form of Missie Baileys.
