Verdict
Miss George sets a fair standard here and this recent course and distance winner looks the one to be with. Although now five, the mare hasn't been over-raced and may be capable of a little more improvement. Strictly on the book Yalla Lara does have the edge over her, but Andrew Balding's filly looks to have lost her way and is tried in a visor today, in an effort to rekindle her enthusiasm. The sheepskin cheekpieces worked the oracle for Perfect Echo last time and this filly may well be capable of better, now that she has got her head in front, while Lincolnshire raider Effervesce will have been freshened up by a break and is only 2lbs higher than when last successful.
