In depth

Verdict

Tathmeen steps up in trip for his all-weather debut and Insurgence returns to action off an 8lb higher mark having ended last year with a course and distance success in a lower grade contest. FLAVIUS TITUS was last seen winning a novice event over today’s trip at Kempton in November and it’s Roger Varian’s charge that gets the nod to make a winning handicap debut. Launceston Place is another having his first start of the year and has been gelded since placing at Kempton butThe Mums continues to frustrate and Bungee Jump only won a claimer here last time and will find this tougher.
