    Verdict

NIGHT STORY landed the odds over track and trip last month when beating a horse rated 84 with a bit to spare. That looks good enough form to defy a penalty and the Godolphin charge is preferred to the other penalised winners Antonian and Technological, though the latter went close over course and distance last time. Sexy Beast wasn’t beaten far over today’s trip at Newcastle on his recent debut but both Silver Character and Construct step up in trip for their respective reappearances.
