Verdict

Shining Romeo has won over hurdles this year and landed a double on the Flat last summer. Iballisticvin is usually in the mix without being good enough and Spiritual Man never threatened the winner when runner-up at Bath last time. Gripper will need to step up on his form in handicaps to figure though is less exposed than most while KATABATIKA should be sharper for a comeback run in better company at Chepstow. She won at Kempton last term and can race off a similar mark here with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account.
