Verdict
The consistent BOLLIN FRANNY appeals as the one to be on here. Green Velvet and Twinned make the shortlist of alternatives, while Lady Bahia is not without a chance now the handicapper has cut her some slack. The last named ran well on her penultimate start but, as she is prone to putting in the odd stinker; she is a risky option for win only purposes. Twinned is arguably better around the turns at Wolverhampton than he is on the switchback track at Lingfield. He is capable of going close but may prove to be vulnerable on this long home-straight. Green Velvet was the best part of three lengths adrift of the selection the last time they met; but she is weighted to get a lot closer this time around. Peter Makin's filly has scope for improvement and can be expected to make this a good test. However, Bollin Franny has been threatening to add to his tally for a while now. And, considering he was rated 82 as a juvenile, his current rating of just 52 leaves the son of Bertolini with a live chance today.
