Verdict

This looks a pretty hot contest with Impulsive Star far from disgraced when surrendering his unbeaten record in a Grade 2 last time at Cheltenham. Black Valentine made a winning start under Rules at Wincanton but the runner-up failed to frank that form next time. Laugharne got off the mark stepped up to this trip at Taunton but that was on fast going and Chepstow scorer Robinroyale is a chaser in the making, as is points winner Zamparelli. CATAMARAN DU SEUIL has his first run for Richard Newland but had decent form in France over hurdles and fences. He could be a nice long-term prospect and might be a bit of value today on ground that will suit.
