      Verdict

      GABRIAL THE DUKE was placed over 1m4f in a higher grade handicap here last time. He stays this longer trip and Adam McNamara's allowance further helps his cause. Todd went close in a Class 5 event over track and trip in December and is preferred to Ninepointsixthree, who remains 6lb higher than his latest win, while Mister Fizz has not won on the Flat since 2014 though is back on a winning mark. Hope You Dance has been thereabouts over 1m4f of late and steps up in class attempting today's longer distance for the first time.
