Verdict
Binnion Bay is given the narrow vote here with Dvinsky, Zorn and Captain Darling put forward as the main dangers. The selection ran really well over this course and distance last time when a good second behind City General. A reproduction of that effort may well be enough to take this and on that basis he is nominated. Dvinsky would have claims on the pick of his form and although he hails from a shrewd yard he is on a long losing run. Unless there is market support for him then he is probably best watched on this occasion. Zorn is hard to recommend on the back of a disappointing effort last time when he finished last on this track over 6f. Captain Darling ran well on his last appearance here and the step-up in trip will help him so he may be good enough to take a place, but for the winner we will stick with Binnion Bay.
