Verdict
A large field goes to post for this maiden but, on closer inspection, not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the main protagonists look to be Overlord Way, Measured Response and Linden Lime and the confident vote is given to Overlord Way. The selection was a good second on his debut behind Buster Hyvonen. That form has since been franked and, given nominal improvement, he is hard to oppose. Measured Response rates the main danger based on his debut second behind Mystery Lot, but he has yet to prove he acts on this surface and for that reason he is opposed. Linden Lime is another worthy of respect as he has run with a modicum of promise on two runs to date, but he has given the impression that he would be suited by further, and for that reason he is overlooked. Of the remainder, Ballinger Venture is a well-bred type from a top yard and should be noted in the market but, for the winner, we return to Overlord Way.
