        Verdict

        Kinrande, Bureaucrat and Crete look the three to concentrate on in this contest and the vote is given to Kinrande. The selection has won his last two races in good style and, although he is rising in the weights, he has won with plenty in hand and under conditions that suit he is taken to defy the handicapper again. Bureaucrat rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Off Coulour, but his best form is with slightly more cut in the ground and, at likely odds, he looks worth taking on. Crete is another worthy of respect on his best form, but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when well behind Barcerdero last time and again he looks beatable off this mark. Of the remainder, Blue Torpedo is another that is open to plenty of improvement but his stable have been out of form of late so cannot be put forward with any confidence and, for the winner, we return to Kinrande.
