Ace of Hearts, Lord Links and Fine Silver are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the narrow vote is given to Lord Links. The selection was a fair fourth behind James Caird last time out. That form has since been franked and, off the same mark, here he is taken to score. Ace Of Hearts rates the main danger as she has been in good form of late and will find this easier than the race she was well beaten in last time out. Fine Silver is another that could go well as he has dropped to a handy mark, but a first time tongue strap will need to improve him dramatically if he is to score. Norton will make a bold bid to make all but he does not look likely to get an easy lead and, for that reason, he is opposed. Of the remainder, Freeloader is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but, for the winner, we return to Lord Links.
