      Verdict

Registrar has been knocking at the door and can come good here, with North Shore, Oatcake and Latin Express the principal dangers. Amanda Perrett has her team in good shape at present and uses Kerrin McEvoy to good effect. Registrar's best effort was when second to Vanadium at Sandown in May, but the Australian sat on him for the first time at Salisbury at the end of last month when the pair finished third over a mile on unsuitably soft ground. That was the colt's first outing in three months as well, so he should strip fitter and the return to this faster Polytrack surface will help his cause enormously, as will the slight drop back in trip. North Shore has been frustrating to follow but is closely matched with the selection on their running behind Vanadium as Richard Hannon's charge was third, conceding a pound and now renews rivalry on level weights. He should be involved in the finish along with Oatcake who was third over six furlongs at Goodwood on only her third career start. Latin Express was placed twice over shorter trips here as a juvenile and is worth a mention as well, but with the stable in form now, we prefer the claims of Registrar
