In depth

Verdict

EASTER GOLD looked like making a successful reappearance over 2m3f here last month when challenging at the last but made a bad mistake and had to settle for second. That should have brought her on enough to land this though Destinee Royale looks a tough opponent. She won a Towcester bumper on her debut in 2018 and was returning from a very long break when a close third on her hurdling debut here in February. Sei Bella makes her debut over timber after a much improved run in a Plumpton bumper while the four-year-old Meryems Way won a couple of races on the Flat in Ireland.
