        Verdict

        A race that will not live long in the memory but The Gaikwar has been running well enough at a slightly higher level to expect him to cope with this ease in grade today. Feat Of Romance is holding his form well and can continue to pay his way in place-money. While there is little to choose between Pageant and Dolphinelle and they could also go well at fair prices for the frame. However, The Gaikwar makes the most appeal for win only purposes and another bold bid is anticipated from the son of Indian Ridge. The step up to a mile should bring the best out of the selection and, with useful 5lb claimer Mark Savage doing the steering, there will be no excuses today. Moayed is one to watch in the betting out of the rest as he goes well at this track and will be a danger to them all if he is ready to do himself justice after 163-days off the track.
