    Verdict

Zonic gets the vote here over the more experienced Gone Fishing, with newcomers Jalissa and One To Win worth noting for the future. Zonic caught the eye on her Windsor debut when, after missing the break, she proceeded to make good headway before meeting traffic problems, eventually finishing seventh behind Apple Of My Eye. Sir Michael Stoute's filly will be fancied to make amends before possibly lining up in the valuable Watership Down Stud Sales Race at Newbury in just under a fortnight's time. Gone Fishing has been placed on her last two starts, but her third at Beverley is nothing outstanding and she is worth taking on. Jalissa is a daughter of Mister Baileys and is a half-sister to the useful Vintage Premium, while One To Win's trainer has one or two sharp sorts. Some nice fillies line up, with Zonic having shown the most potential of those to have raced so far and it is she who gets the vote.
