JOSS STICK has the vote here after some improved performances for his new yard with Sarah's Art and Hurricane Coast also in with chances. After drastically losing form over the summer the switch to join Ron Harris' stable seems to have done the trick for the selection who has begun to rediscover better performances in recent races. The latest effort came at Wolverhampton where he looked well capable of taking a race of this quality when third of 10. Because of the lack of form previously he's now off a mark eight pounds lower than his last winning rating and this could be set up for him. Sarah's Art could be value here at his optimum trip. His last effort over the minimum distance was on his penultimate start when finishing in second place of eleven at Kempton. It was a good showing from the five-year-old who had a lot of ground to make up after meeting problems at the start and suggested better could come in the coming weeks. The sixth from the race has since gone on to place and score which will add to his claims. Hurricane Coast drops back to five furlongs after some decent efforts over distances up to a mile. Still well below his highest winning mark he has been showing that his current rating is causing him a little trouble but he's well placed in the handicap for this contest and has the ability to go well. Triskaidekaphobia has a claim on his last effort but Joss Stick should be too strong for them all.
