        Verdict

        Joy And Pain makes a quick return to the track and can get the better of Peruvian Style Point Of Dispute and Fulvio. The selection finished an excellent second behind Quantum Leap in that course and distance event, going down by just over a length. There were some in form horses in arrears so the form could be pretty decent and he looks the one to beat. Peruvian Style is certainly the main danger, especially with a literal reading of the official ratings. He is currently rated fifteen pounds higher than the selection and he hasn't been beaten far in a couple of competitive handicaps recently. Fulvio was second in a banded event over a mile here last time and getting lumps of weight from the principals, he should be capable of running into a place. Point Of Dispute has done little wrong all winter and is another well suited by the race conditions. So a very competitive claimer and we will give a sporting vote to Joy And Pain.
