Verdict

Irish Art was sent off favourite at Bath on his reappearance and first attempt at 1m2f. He came up short but will be sharper for the run while Twpsyn won in Guernsey last month and blinkers are applied back in this better company. Temujin finished runner-up over 1m1f on the Turf here recently while Bolt N Brown had been thereabouts in maiden races before struggling at Windsor and gets first-time headgear. CRYSTAL TRIBE never figured in a maiden at Newmarket last time but is another sporting headgear for the first time and the Haggas colt is expected to finish a lot closer today making his handicap debut at this lowly level.
