      Verdict

      Emily Goldfinch won at Newmarket last month but was due to race at Brighton yesterday and BURIDAN is preferred. The latter missed out by only a neck at Windsor last time and a return to winning ways looks imminent for Richard Hannon’s charge. It was soft ground when Vegas Boy finished runner-up at Ascot on his penultimate start though he finished ahead of Royal Residence and the former has since disappointed at Windsor. Zamjar alos needs to improve having failed to build on a narrow-margin defeat at Doncaster back in April.
